Society of Petroleum Engineers

The Denver chapter of the society of petroleum engineers needed a much more technologically advanced solution than what they had in place. Big Orange Planet created a complex event registration and booking system that allows members to register and pay entry for upcoming events. Of course SPE are oil people, but the organization itself is not for profit and largely falls to young up and comers.

On the admin side the Denver chapter can easily upload new events, with pricing points set for various member types, start and end dates, and a comprehensive suite of custom management tools. Spreadsheet reports of attendees can be generated with a few clicks of a mouse. The focus of the sociey is indeed these events, therefore a robust event handling system was the key facet to this enterprise.
